Now if I lived in an area surrounded by trees and shade (sort of like my Uncle Sonny's home) I would do this in a minute.
Of course you probably would be worried about rain.... so maybe this idea would be better suited for a covered patio area. But I just love all the pillows, and the colors, and the fabric. A perfect retreat to curl up with a favorite book and get lost in the pages.
Or maybe this little comfy daybed would fit perfect on a porch like this. It would be protected by rain but you could still feel a breeze and not be in the glare of the sun.
You might be wondering why I'm longing for a place to read outside. It's 58 degrees today. There is a nice breeze blowing and all the snow is melting. I'm ready for Spring.
Ah, now this is the place....what a cute hideaway.....or this:
Ah, can you imagine the scent of the flowers and how happy you would be walking towards this little gem. Of course since I don't do heat and humidity; hopefully there is a fan or A/C inside. (hehe).
Now my sister Melinda would like this; because she loves to swing. I don't like swinging, it makes me dizzy.... but again I like this shabby chic look. And I love the blue Mason jar.
But instead today I've opened my patio door, and I'm curled up on my sofa, with a throw on my lap, reading my book and watching my curtains plowing in the breeze.
The month of March is such a little tease.

A lot of nice places, but once it gets hot, I don't like being outside. I guess that's why, early Spring is my favorite time of year. By the way, I have problems with the code to prove I'm not a robot. LOL, I had to try three times on the one about the time change.
Well I added that because I was getting a lot of spam several months ago. I can remove it
well I don't like swinging as much as I used to...but could definitely handle a porch swing!
