Ice Storm Hits Us Again

Well... around 7:00 p.m. last night another icy front moved into our area, pounding us with little ice pellets. Although I love the sound of the ice hitting the windows, I live in an all electric environment... and ice has a way of pulling down electrical lines.

When I went to bed, I grabbed my camera and took a few pictures.

This morning will be an icy, slushy challenge. But currently it is 36 degrees and by this afternoon it should be around 46.... so for now, I'm grabbing a good book and just chillin out for awhile.

Yep, I heard it last night too, but it looks like the roads are just wet, although it's only 38 degrees out this morning. We're not going anywhere, I'm still hacking and coughing. Audrey was disappointed that she wasn't going to see you today. I told her it would be best if we just stayed at home.

I need to go fix lunch, we're both in our PJ's still. I have to take a test for one of my online classes today and work on a presentation for my other class.

What book are you reading? I started reading a book called The Myth of You and Me by Leah Stewart. It's pretty good so far, it's going to be the library book of the month in April.

Sorrrrrrrrry you got hit by ice. We were supposed to get ice pellets but they've changed the forecast. To just some snow. Fine with me!!!

That's a very interesting photo of the ice though.
