Finally.... here comes the Rain

In this section of Ohio, we are having a moderate drought. So... this afternoon, when the sky changed to gray and the wind picked up, I was hoping for rain. It started only as a few sprinkles and then stopped, leaving the smell of rain in the air.

But then it began to pour, and rained pretty steadily for about 15 minutes. The gutter downsplash couldn't handle the amount of rain, and shot up like a geyser, which caused a small river to break out, through all my pine needle mulch, and flooded my patio. But... as my little boychild said "damn... I guess I don't have to water tonight."
