A Random Act of Kindness
I really enjoy participating in swaps held over at Papercrafts Magizine. One day I was scrolling through the new swaps listed and I came across this one:
"I have a friend who could use a nice "pick-me-up" card or note. She is a nice lady and has been diagnosed with colon cancer. She had surgery, and just started her chemo treatments, and is feeling sick and a little down.
This is not a RAK for gifts or money, just a cheery card or note to give her something to look forward to in the mail. Her name and address is: Shirley Beauchemin, Apt. # 27, 6 Linden Ave., Sanford, ME 04073."
Of course, I had to participate. To sign up to participate please go to:http://www.papercraftsmag.com/swaps/swap.ihtml?idx=16637 And since I was working with a daisy earlier tonight... I carried that over in my card for Shirley:
I'm definitely in a "vintage" stage.
