Baking Cookies
Melissa and Audrey didn't venture out today because of the weather, so that left me some free time. I decided to bake two different cookies.
The first cookie is from Martha Stewart website. They are calling Giant Ginger Cookies. I love ginger cookies and am always trying a new recipe. This one is pretty good. The only change I made in the recipe is that instead of baking 12 giant cookies, I made 24 instead.
And the recipe can be found: http://www.marthastewart.com/giant-ginger-cookies?
The other cookie is the traditional Mexican Wedding Cake. I've loved this cookie for a long time and it is so easy to make... that it is a holiday favorite.
I love this particular recipe that I found at Food Network's website and the recipe is from Paula Deen. The recipe is located at: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_31479,00.html
I will probably make Paula's Chocolate Gooey Butter cookie later tonight. Now it's time for cleanup and figure out what I'm fixing for dinner.
