Mixed Media Monday - Thrinchies

This week's challenge at Mixed Media Monday was Thrinchies. Now thrinchies is a new word to me. I have heard of inchies (1 x 1 piece of art)... so a thrinchie is a 3 x 3.

I found these two pictures... and since the hands were clutched in a similar fashion... I went the route of an old woman thinking about her childhood.
