Oh Baby.... It's Cold inside


The coldest day and night of the year... and guess who's furnace dies?????

They finally got the furnace fixed around 5:30 p.m. today. The temperature inside was around 50 degrees and outside about 20 below. But it's amazing how cold 50 is when you're inside.

Now, 4 hours later and the temperature is finally inching upwards. It is 65. Still chilly around the feet (we have electric heat... and heat registers are close to ceiling).

But you have to be grateful for having shelter on a night as cold as this.

oh man! I was wondering if anyone's furnace would go out. GLAD they got it fixed for you!

you know I have heaters if you ever needed to borrow them Angela - I got them when my furnace went out recently

or tell Gary to head to Lowes and get a couple for like 12.99 each....they look like a fan (AND can be used as a fan...)but they also blow out hot air like a hair dryer...2 settings. Those are super nice....warm a room really fast. I also got a nice oscillating ceramic heater which will really warm a room up quickly too...(of course they may be out of those now....all heaters.....with the temps as cold as they have been) I ordered mine online and then just went to the store to pick them up.
