Saturday at Wayne Lakes

My Uncle Sonny had a cookout yesterday at his home. On Friday it was so hot and humid, and threats of major storms passing through this area that we thought we might have to cancel the cookout... but when we woke up on Saturday, the storms had passed and the humidity had disappeared.

This is the view from Sonny's back patio area.



He has several paddle boats if you are adventurous enough to give it a try. There is also a tree house that he has built nestled between two massive branches.

Audrey and Noah, my niece and nephew, stole off to the swings while we finished our meal. It was funny observing them when they were unaware anyone was watching. They would both stop and talk... then jump back up on the swing and swing away.



Sonny's backyard is filled with enchantment and mystery... he even has a forest that is visited by the fairies. I'm pretty sure this is even more beautiful at night when all those little lights illuminate this magical place.
