Tomatoes - Day 19 of Giving Thanks

I'm grateful for a good juicy tomato.  You know the kind that actually grows outside.  The kind with all the flavor and smells like sunshine.

I grew tomatoes this year and I enjoyed every one I plucked from the vine.  And next year I'm planting more.  You can never have too many tomatoes don't you think?

Agreed! There is NO comparison between those that are home grown and those that one buys in the grocery store. The fresh ones are soooo good!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

I agree. This year I planted Indigo Rose Tomatoes--they are a bluish purple.

However, my favorites to eat were the red and yellow variety. I love your description of the idea of tomatoes smelling like sunshine. You are right. What a wonderful description.

Is your middle name really Beth?

The older I get the more I like the name Beth. (grin)

Have a lovely marvelous day.
