Clear Soup with Chicken Wontons
Here's the recipe Miss Debra:
Wonton
1/3 pound ground chicken
4 spring onions, finely sliced
1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated
1 Tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
Wonton wrappers
Soup
1 quart chicken stock
1/2 cup finely sliced spring onions
Soy Sauce
Wonton
1/3 pound ground chicken

1 quart chicken stock
1/2 cup finely sliced spring onions
Soy Sauce
- Combine chicken, spring onions, ginger, cilantro and soy sauce.
- Place a teaspoon of this mixture in the middle of a wonton wrapper. Wet edges with water, gather in middle and pinch together to form a little pouch.
- Bring chicken stock to a boil. Add wontons and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Serve in heated bowls, sprinkle with sliced spring onions and a few dashes of soy sauce.
