Geese on Snowy Pond
This morning the geese were out enjoying the frozen pond. It snowed last night so the pond was pretty with the white dusting of snow. And all the ducks seemed to be enjoying it as well.
Now I would think the icy pond would be colder than the ground; but I'm not a duck or goose... and they seem to know what they are doing.

We don't see these geese except when they migrate for a brief while from "somewhere" ?? to here. When they do, and we are lucky enough to see them, it is a real treat for us. Of course, there is no ice or snow here....so seeing the geese brings big smiles to us.
