10/05 - And the beat goes on...

Today Alex and I traveled to Brookville to watch Audrey perform with the Brookville High School Marching Band during the Firemen's Parade.

Well, as soon as I saw the band, I teared up.  Audrey is in 8th grade but was invited to join the High School Band.  She has put in a lot of practice in all sort of weather and I'm so proud of her.

Thankfully Becky was able to videotape the march since I was crying.

I have never heard of an eighth grader being invited to join a high school band before, EB. She must be so talented; how nice to have a niece like this! xoO

EB, I never have time to tell you that your verification for comments on your blog is SO HARD! I have to try over and over again to leave a comment. Sometimes I just give up because I can't see it. Today I really wanted to post this about Audrey, so I listened to the audio several times and finally hit the jackpot! It's that hard...just so you know, because sometimes people don't even know they have it on, nor how hard it is to get through :0 xoO
