From Last Night's Journal

Fall will arrive in just a few short hours. I’m so eager for its return.

Tonight has been such a tease. The night air is chilly and a light misty rain dances about.

I wish you could bottle moments like these. I went outside to take some photos, but I couldn’t really capture what I saw.

But at this moment, I’m so happy. The sounds of the crickets chirping away, the smell of the wet grass, the sound of the rain as it splashes on the sidewalk… show me that the world is a truly marvelous place and we are magnificent creatures to be able to experience such moments.
