4 Days and Still Yucky
On Monday, during the work day, I began to feel achy and sneezy. By the time I got home, I had lost my voice and was incredibly tired. I went to bed.
I awoke the next morning, the right side of my face pounding and unable to sit up because it made me so dizzy. Went to the doctor and was told that I had the flu, that it was a virus and to take some aspirins, drink plenty of fluids and "gut it out".
By Thursday, feeling much worse than Tuesday, I went back to the doctor and was told that I now had a .sinus infection, pharyngitis and bronchitis. Now I'm only 3 medications, received a shot... and today Gary picked up the 4th med. Oh... and I'm still feeling as lousy as I did Tuesday. However, my voice has returned... although it's several octaves deeper.
Hubby did leave a nice surprise for me. I've gone through 2 boxes of kleenix and when I woke up from a nap, the third box was waiting for me along with the movie "The Holiday" that I wanted. I really enjoyed this movie and wanted my own copy of it. My sisters say he spoils me. Hmmm.. I really don't think so.
Now on the bad side, working for the Bank I get 6 paid sick days a year... hell I've used 4 this week.... Yikes... how many days are left in 2007?

One of the women I work with was out for 4 1/2 days with the "flu". She said she thought she was going to die.
