You can tell it was hot by looking at the poor flowers. They wanted a drink, which your Father gave them later towards evening. I hate to think what our water bill will be this next time, because they almost double the sewer rate according to the water used, doesn't matter if it goes down the sewer or into the yard, you're still charged, no way they can tell where it is going. Plus they raised the rates here in town, so we'll see, and when he hits the roof because of the fee, I'll have to remind him how much he was using the hose and sprinkling cans a lot.
