Preview of Miss Audrey's Breakfast

Tomorrow morning, Audrey and Missy, my non-blogging sister Becky, and my son, Alex will be heading off to Cinci to that dissected body exhibit. I promised Miss Audrey that I would prepare funnel cakes for her for breakfast. Since I've never made a funnel cake before, I tried the recipe out tonight.

My son gave me two powder sugar thumbs up and said they taste just like the ones you get at the fair.

yeah it does look good. Probably similar to those things grandma used to make where you dipped that little flower-shaped metal wand into batter and then lowered it in the deep fryer. Those were good too....I still have a metal wand somewhere I think and a recipe. Surely grandma does too.
