A Tie Dyed Evening

Around 9:00 pm, Little Miss Audrey and Alex, went outdoors to work on their tie-dyed creations.

First they had to prepare the dye. They shook and shook each bottle:

Each had their own unique technique in applying the dye to their t-shirts. Ooops Missy, we did have a t-shirt over Audrey's clothes, but when she finally came in, we noticed dye on her skirt. I'm washing it now... hopefully it will come out.

Now the shirts have to dry for about 6 hours. So in the morning, we will complete the project, wash and dry them... and have them pose in their creations.

Oh... at around Midnight this is what Audrey said:

"So Angela, tomorrow we are going to Cheryl's cookies, and going to play putt-putt, and then bake cupcakes... but when are you making funnel cakes?" Yikes... several months ago when Audrey was here, we went to a local happening. We wanted to buy funnel cakes and when we got to the stand, they had just closed. I told Audrey then that I would find a recipe for it and we would make them the next time she came.

Guess What????? She has an excellent memory... so tomorrow for breakfast we are making funnel cakes with fresh strawberries.

It's 1:44 AM. Audrey is still up. The boys just got back from Steak N Shake. They are now eating french fries. I'm waiting for the dryer to turn off. I want to go to bed NOW.

LOL and when I let her stay up till 11pm, she thinks that's great. I bet she sleeps in this morning.

Sounds like Audrey's trying to do everything in one day, maybe she should stay another day or two. LOL

By the way, yesterday when I was trying to post, something must have been wrong with blogspot.
