Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we would always go to my Grandparent's home.  Grandma and Grandpa would buys gifts for us grand kids, and all the Aunts and Grandma would make delicious food.  Grandma always made a baked ham that was simply the best ham you would ever eat.

Then Grandpa got Alzheimer's and the celebration on Christmas Eve became hard on him.  He would get confused surrounded by so many people.  Then Grandpa died and Christmas Eve at their house stopped.

So we started a new tradition that year.  Gary, Alex and I would go out for dinner at a Chinese Restaurant on Christmas Eve.  And that tradition has stuck.

Tonight we went to PF Changs.  Thankfully I made reservations as the restaurant was packed.
