Countdown to 2015

As 2015 slowly creeps towards us, I do try to make little lists of things I want to do in the new year. I'm not really a planner; but I do like to have a sense of direction where the upcoming year will go.  Don't get me wrong, my lists are small.  I never want to feel like I'm visiting 21 cities in 4 different countries in 3 days.  Yeah you might be able to wear the t-shirt "been there, done that" but what did you really experience?

I do break my list down to months.  I want to do something new each month - whether that is to travel to a new place, try a new recipe or a new craft; research a new make-up, narrow down hair color choices or read a new series of books.  And I also make lists for things our family can do together.

But I also like the freedom of just doing something out of the blue because you can.  That's why my lists aren't too detailed.

How do you prepare for the New Year?  Do you make detailed goals and resolutions and plot out how you are going to achieve those goals?  Do you break things down monthly, daily or do you keep it all in your head.  I would really like to know how you prepare for the upcoming year.

I don't plan on too much ahead, at 78, you never know. LOL Just joking. But I never did make new years resolutions, just a waste of time. Sometimes the best fun is the spur of the moment thing, although with your Dad it isn't always so. LOL I started him back on his anxiety pills this morning, they do seem to help his disposition. In fact, I might see if I could take one now and then. Might be what I need. Love you, have a great day.
