Eventful Wednesday
Received a call from my Dad this morning. My Mom had fallen down and hit the back of her head on a bench. My Mom is on a blood thinner, so falls to the head is a very bad thing.
This is what I saw when I arrived at the hospital:
She had to wear the neck brace until they finished the catscans. Thankfully she wasn't bleeding into the brain. She has a huge knot (about the size of my hand) on the back of her head.
And this is how she was looking when I left her house tonight.
She's going to be sore tomorrow. Please say a prayer for her. The next 24 to 48 hours because her blood was so thin, the Doctor says there is a small chance she get develop a brain bleed.....

So, if he sees a comment from Evelyn on his FB page, please tell him it's me. I am soooo sorry to hear about your Mom's fall. I am very relieved to read that she was able to go home, and I want her to know that I am praying that all is well...no further complications from the fall. Tell her that I am praying for her. I will leave a comment on her blog, but I'm not sure that she will be there for a while. ?? I am praying for her, Angie. She will be in my daily and nightly prayers.
